Bear is still growling, a little disoriented, and sleeping in the corner of our dinning room. I want to stay awake, and watch him, but the stress of the day is starting to make it difficult to keep my eyes open. :-(

20. ** UPDATE **

I think my big guy - Bear - is going to be ok. He's up & around.. and even eating a little this morning. Whew.

Yesterday, hubby took Bear to the vet for a teeth cleaning. He's a pretty wild cat, so they usually give him gas if he needs anything worked on. I had one of those "feelings" about it, but thought I was just being paranoid. And the vet seemed to think his teeth were in pretty bad shape. Anyway, Bear reacted to the gas. His blood pressure dropped dangerously low while they were doing the procedure... so low the vet had to use epinephrine to bring him back... confessing, later, she "almost lost him."

I know I should prepare myself for the inevitable. Bear is almost 15 years old. But I just couldn't handle losing him just yet.

Thank you for all the prayers and vibes. I was really worried about him. He's my baby... as corny as that sounds.

Glad Bear has turned the corner. Teeth cleaning will help keep him alive and well.
