I can't boot up my computer except in safe mode. It just started this morning. I've tried going back to previous good start up points but still I can't get to the boot up except in safe mode. The only thing I can think of that might have screwed me up is downloading the new google earth. I've had it before, this was just a new update. Now what?

I went back to Feb. 11 and it said it couldn't recover that point, yet here I am in regular mode. I wonder what's brewing.
