Had a dream last night that was interesting in a couple ways... |

Basic scenario is that I was back living with my parents (in the home I grew up in but they sold 10 years ago), seemingly had been there for a while, and I was having minor argument with my mother about the arrangement. In real life I'm 50-ish and out of the house with no boomerangs since college.
The first thing I thought was interesting is this: I was about 25 years younger, as was my mom. But the authority dynamic was more like it is now in real life-- those of you with aging parents know how that evolves. And my dad who in real life passed away in December was no where to be seen in the dream (though he's shown up in others). So we regressed in age and to a place we can no longer be but the rest of reality seemed to follow us there.
The other thing that struck me wasn't part of the dream but realizing that I often have dreams where I'm much younger (like the common dream where you're in college and 'realize' you have a final in a class you hadn't been to) but I don't think I've ever as an adult dreamt that I was a kid or even high school age. I can go back only as far as roughly college-age.
Is that unusual? Do any of you (let's say 40 and up) DUers dream of being little kids?

1. Sadly I have no such dreams... |

But my high school crowd finally located me after a few decades of drifting, so I am starting to phase back in time.
