Ok, I have question about Star Wars Episode II
at the end when Yoda is fighting Count Dooku. Dooku sends a giant column towards Obi Wan and Annikan and Yoda "catches" it just in time. Now why didn't Yoda hurl that column onto Dooku's ship? He didn't have to kill Dooku, just prevent him from leaving as the clone troops were arriving.

2. Congratulations. You have found the one plot hole in the Star Wars Sixilogy
Can you imagine how bad it would have gotten if he'd ever gotten around to doing all nine movies?

3. just one? haha
I'm sure by the 9th movie, he would've written in a plot twist that negates the entire series. lol

4. Why didn't Yoda just use the Force to push/pull Obi Wan and Anakin out of the way?

5. That "force" seems to have some serious limitations.
They need to install Force v.2.0.

6. Maybe he just didn't have the strength.
It's not like he tossed it 200 feet in the other direction. He pretty much let it fall right next to Annikan and Obi Wan.

It was a big chunk.

12. Not as big as an X-Wing
Of course, in EPV, The Yodester didn't have to suck up a lot of that purple lightning, either...

8. For that matter, if ET can make things fly, why didn't he just fly back to his ship when it first
took off at the beginning of the movie?

Oh, right. Because then there wouldn't be a movie. :P

9. He's a cuddly little cubby, but remember, his mind is stuffed with fluff.
Or is that the other Jedi, Beir Poo?

Seriously, unless you are a Jedi or at least a scholar on the nuances of the Force, you are just embarrassing yourself by asking these questions. You should just watch and learn, not ask questions.

11. The best excerpt from any critique I've read of EPII
Edited on Sun Feb-15-09 10:52 PM by Orrex
Unfortunately, given Lucas' proven knack for lousy dialogue, you can't help but snicker at the two lovebirds. Special mention has to go to Anakin's head-scratching segue between complaining about beach sand and marveling at Amidala's silky-smooth complexion. For a couple of terrifying seconds, it seems like he might start singing.
From Paul Tatara's review dated 5/15/2002.

Oh I laughed my ass off when I read that.

And here's the second best excerpt, from that same review:
Anakin, as embodied by Christensen, is the kind of needlessly moody kid you might see getting punched out in a Dairy Queen parking lot.
