Once I was in a boat in the Amazon. A sloth was in the river. :wow: Our guide fished him out with the long paddle. The sloth clung to the beam holding the boat's "roof." They put him in a tree when we got to the place we were staying -- an eco-resort. That way he would not get eaten by natives.

They have that green tinge because algae grows on their fur.
