I love the leftover posts that were sufficiently neutral to escape deletion, so that in a flurry of blank spaces you wind up with little tidbits like
"I thought it was more like an avocado."
or
"But that was with both feet."
So you're left wondering what the hell everyone was talking about before the mods brought the hammer down. It's like trying to envision the layout of a burned-down house based on the still-standing chimney.

1. My favorites are the subthreads where every other message is deleted. |

It's obviously a "discussion" between two posters and one poster has lost his/her temper so all of their posts were removed, but the other participant still has all of theirs up.
Like this:
What's that supposed to mean? --Deleted message ----So you expect me to change my stance based on that? ------Deleted message --------Strawman. ----------Deleted message ------------You kiss your mother with that mouth?

I'm always dying to ask who the delete poster was, but I know better...
