1. Who Moved My Cheese?
I thought that book was older than that by a decade or more, I seem to remember reading it in the early 80s, just looked it up, the first commercial version was published in 1972.

3. dude, that book is still in print, updated every year and my husband buys a
new one about every 5 years.

I can't tell you how many of them he has given as a gift.

4. Does it work for him?
For me, it was an unnecessary abstraction - better to go stealth beforehand and learn their 'language.'

5. I read it after it was recommended to me by a man I shared a cab with
in the mid 1980s. For the life of me I cannot remember what the job advice in that book was. But I remember who suggested I read it and where we were when he suggested it.

6. Is 'too small and full of holes' a color?
I do remember the book - right next to the "7 Habits of Highly Successful People" of which I (rounding up) had only one...

9. The career office at my college told me to get it.
Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 01:10 AM by Kat45
Rather than giving me any counseling or job leads, the person told me to get this book. I was pissed.
Edited to add: this was in the seventies.
