2. That means he loves you.
I had a (very indoor) kitty that went out on the balcony and found a bird that had broken its neck flying into a window. He wouldn't come inside until I had praised him profusely for his "kill."

3. Your cat is more generous than mine.
Last time one of mine caught a mouse, he killed and ate it right in front of me. In the living room. And he didn't even offer me any.

4. Good gad
Yes, they are presents of love but it's a bit hard to take. Did you have to clean it up too? ewwwww.

5. Hey, at least he didn't drop it on your foot alive like Yogi did me.
I swear I think he wanted me to kill it and fry it up in a pan for him. He wouldn't kill it. He gave it to me alive after playing with it gently. He's such a sweet boy though, so loving. I wouldn't trade him for anything.

7. or bring a live squirrel into your house and then let it go. Damn thing ended
up on top of a picture on the wall, my daughter finally got hold of its tail to take it to the yard, and the damn thing swung around and bit her.

This was several years ago but the look on the cat's face when the squirrel leapt on to the picture frame was priceless.

6. Now you know how Mithras felt.
"My humans are darned cute, but what is it with them and these bulls? They think I can't go kill a bull myself if I want a dead bull? Geesh."
