4. I don't mind it myself, whining about vet bills
but I particularly hate it when other people criticize money spent on pets - I know people who have bought houses bigger than they needed, or fancy cars, or designer duds but heaven forbid we should spend money on our beloved pets - yes INDEED

5. I know, and truth be told....
I would take out a second mortgage on my home to pay for her care if need be. Even if she is the spawn of Satin.

6. Bet it's a bargain, too.
I spent $3500 trying to buy some time and keep my Zen happy and healthy at the end. Gave me a year. Wouldn't trade it for the world.

8. I hear ya...
If I added up my vet bills over the last 11 years or so, I'm guessing $20,000? Top care, all shots and check-ups, teeth cleaning, etc.

The companionship of 2 animal friends for 11 years so far...pretty good bargain in my book. :)

7. I spent $1900 last year just for a pooch surgery. And I knew he'd be deaf afterwards.
Ya know what is really silly? There was a horrible storm that night after his surgery, and I was so worried cause I know he hates storms.

He was deaf! Well duh!

9. The one with the ass problem has gone deaf...
I worry for her, but she has never escaped.

Also, she used to literally attack my boy dog whenever I sneezed...she just hated the sound. And she use to go nuts during storms and fireworks...at least these problems went away.

I am still sad she is deaf though.

17. I'm so sorry.
I really didn't mean to be disrespectful. If my little Bella was having medical problems, I'd be disconsolate. I just jumped on the subject line.

Best wishes to you and your puppy.

spent it all on the vet bills for our dog's ass.
We had $50 left over, went and partioticly spent it.

Dog is now fine, except he WON'T go in the vet's building. He weighs about 115 pounds, and he just locked himself in place when we took him for his shots last fall and we could not move him. The vet came out to give Cory his shots and check up in the rain.
