Awesome or just plain amazing?

1. My buddy Vance Powell just won a grammy w/ Jack White

for co-engineering that latest release. Taught him everything he knows. Not really. But you're an audiophile guy, right? It sounds good on those cans of yours, I bet. Love the chest sound he gets out of the mics, especially that woman's voice. Great separation, too, on what could be a cluttered mix.

2. Consolers of the Lonely

is a great album, sounds great too.

Yes I am an audiophile, and the record sounds GREAT on my new headphones!

20. Lots of groups/musicians...

Prince, Nine Inch Nails, Jarabe de Palo, U2, etc. The Raconteurs, IMHO, suck. Wait, no they don't. They suckity suck suck!

It's like Jack White neutered, playing with an emocore band and recorded by Britney Spears' producer. The albums are mostly OK through one listen, but hearing the songs a few times through, it seems like each has an extremely annoying element. Between the two albums I heard, there may be two decent songs. I prefer the White Stripes and Meg's brilliant drumming, myself.

It lent quite a bit of authenticity to their sound.
