I've been kinda busy the last couple of months and haven't been painting at all. Sketching with pencil or conte is very liberating. After I completed my wildlife drawings, I took some time off. We moved into a new home and I've just been overwhelmed with "new house stuff". But now it is time to finish up some stuff and start some new.

Your pencils must be very soft, or you're bumping up the contrast on your scans.

The Last drawing is the only carbon penicl...all the others are conte pencil or charcoal...

The hard part is always finding a model. I don't like drawing from photos anymore or from my imagination for that matter, but we do what we must.
