What do you think of my Firefox configuration?
I decided to get rid of some of the clutter and maximize my screen-space. I'm actually running 23 extensions but now you'd never know it.

First I autohid the menubar. Then I went through my Firefox configuration and removed the following icons:
  • Reload (that's what F5 is for)
  • Home: (that's alt-home is for)
  • Stop loading: (that's what the escape key is for)
  • DownThemAll button (I always right-click to invoke the menu anyway)
  • Throbber (there's already one on each tab, don't need another one)
  • FEBE (great extension, the icon served no purpose)
  • AdBlock (no need to keep the icon up)

I kept:
  • forward/back buttons as it's handy to see at a glance if a back/forward page even exists
  • StumbleUpon
  • DownloadHelper
  • PageSaver
  • TabCounter
  • Noscript
  • GMail Notifier

6. I use them mainly as indicators
I usually just hit alt-arrow to go back or forward.

I'm a keyboard shortcut type: Alt page-up/down to move through tabs. Alt-0 to go to the first tab, alt-9 to go to the last. Ctl-t to open a new tab, ctl-w to close a tab, etc.
