The World's Most Famous Nobody

It takes a special person to become the World's Most Famous Nobody. You have to be involved in some great event and become famous. But you have to remain a nobody. There's a paradox here. It's like the mathematician's search for the most unremarkable number. As soon as you identify that number, it becomes remarkable.

So here's my candidate - the 9/11 Guy. Google "9/11 guy" and this picture comes up. To my knowledge, this man has never been identified. How can he remain a nobody when everybody knows who he is?

You can tell by what he's wearing that he's not dressed for a warm day in September. But that's beside the point. Everybody knows him as the 9/11 Guy, but to my knowledge he's never been identified. He's the World's Most Famous Nobody.
