1. TV local news right now
Earlier:

Lily Allen - It's Not Me, It's You (meh, still not a fan - this is more dull and worse than the overrated Alright Still)

Miranda Lee Richards - Light Of X (excellent singer-songwriter type CD!)

3. Death Cab For Cutie-I Will Follow You Into The Dark
Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 06:43 PM by Chan790
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9BgOv7-RVPY

Love of mine some day you will die
But I'll be close behind
I'll follow you into the dark

No blinding light or tunnels to gates of white
Just our hands clasped so tight
Waiting for the hint of a spark
If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No's" on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

In Catholic school as vicious as Roman rule
I got my knuckles bruised by a lady in black
And I held my tongue as she told me
"Son fear is the heart of love"
So I never went back

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No's" on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark

You and me have seen everything to see
From Bangkok to Calgary
And the soles of your shoes are all worn down
The time for sleep is now
It's nothing to cry about
'cause we'll hold each other soon
In the blackest of rooms

If Heaven and Hell decide
That they both are satisfied
Illuminate the "No's" on their vacancy signs

If there's no one beside you
When your soul embarks
Then I'll follow you into the dark
Then I'll follow you into the dark

Edited on Tue Feb-17-09 07:34 PM by abq e streeter
minus the Rush fans and metal-heads.....ah hell, to each their own........ but Little Walter, the king of em all y'all... BTW, I was just listening to the annoying sound of my alarm clock...and am now listening to a live in the studio tape of myself singing ( and band playing of course) rockabilly from several years ago, trying to decide which songs to put on a CD of it ( just for distribution to friends and for personal posterity). I think only about half of it came out well enough to use, but hey, it was live,; one take...

10. Does that have "The Dark Eternal Night" on it?
If so, is the rest of the album that heavy? I dig some good old fashioned prog metal.

22. Yes it is.
It's definitely their heaviest album to date. They are supposed to have a new one in May / June, I look forward to seeing what they do next. And when you consider the lineup for Prog Nation 2009 - fuckin' awesome!

An airplane flying overhead. My son in the next room quoting some dude he knows through Facebook, "Jamal," Gimme yo numbah, quick befoah ah decahd ah doan wan it no moh. Jamal is something of a poet, seriously, and J does him fair justice in the recital.

That last performance was one of the worst ever on there. Alexis Grace and Ricky Braddy have been good, and Anoop Desai was ok, but only Alexis really has stood out.
