More proof jj abram's vision of star trek is all wrong
The teaser is about young kirk(tm) being chased by robocopy. He sees the enterprise(tm) and meets his crew, and they all say how space is a dirty diseased place.

jj (who ain't dyn-o-mite) should WATCH Trek (TOS and TNG) and remember what the franchise is about. Don't bastardize it. Especially when, in this day and age, we need more optimistic media to compensate for all the demoralizing, draining filth that's made.

2. I watched TNG episode the other day, some kind of radiation disabled the phasers.
They use this lame storyline over and over and over. Just when you need something, some nebula,or radiation or whatever the fuck, the one thing you really fucking need is "offline".

4. It is my professional opinion this will be the worst ever ST movie. Even worse than First Contact
and Nemesis.

After seeing a few trailers, I have absolutely no faith in this movie.

Gene Roddenberry must be rolling in his grave.

Rick Berman had as much of a clue about Star Trek as Oprah does about genuine generosity.

And JJ Abrams makes Berman look like Roddenberry his holy self.

5. Actually, they turned a "dirty diseased place" into a virtual paradise...
If you follow the timeline.

Seems apropos, to me.
