So I had a quiet birthday. The brownies were a big hit. My co-worker even wanted the recipes :D

Today will be another busy day. Oh well, at least it isn't borning here :)

24. I did! I hope you like them steamed. They were delicious.

We had friends over it was a nice party.They brought some nice wine and cheese.Later that evening they wanted to cook a Lincoln/Darwin/Obama dinner so we did. I don't know when I've had such a good time. After every body left, I stayed on for a few days and tinkered with the down riggers on my boat. The island is pretty much deserted now and I enjoy spending some one on one quality time with the seagulls, the sunrise and the seashore. It was nice. :loveya: :hug: :hi:

Are you still around? Sorry, I am late, had to go to the doc real quick. See my post 37 to AirmensMom.

My mom told me yesterday they have heavy snowfall in the Black Forest. Here in Frankfurt, not so much.

We have some chocolate fans here at work, so brownies were just perfect. I was a bit afraid they wouldn't be juicy enough as they turned out a bit on the darker side when I took them out of the oven.

As irritating as more snow can be, (we've had well over 60 inches this season already), it sure looks beautiful outside. I just head someone shoveling, so I don't think I'll have to do the walk - a very nice surprise.

I should suspect brownies would be a hit anywhere. And actually, I like mine a little on the crunchy side. Always try to get the corner pieces. :rofl:

When i moved in my first apartment here in Frankfurt in the beginning I woke up because I heard water running. The apartment was still empty and I went through the rooms checking for broken pipes .... it was the water running through the drains outside that woke me up. sorry for the delay. Decided on short notice to go to the doc because of my finger after all and just got back. Nothing they can do but hope that the nail stays on. The tissue got hurt. Have to go to a check-up Friday again.
