Jimi Hendrix estate wins $3.2 million judgment against "Electric Hendrix Spirits" vodka company

The estate of Jimi Hendrix was awarded a $3.2 million judgment after suing Electric Hendrix Spirits for infringing on the guitar god’s trademark, says Blabbermouth. It was a pretty open-and-shut case, as Electric Hendrix Spirits used Jimi’s name, signature and likeness on a vodka bottle without permission. They even named their company Electric Hendrix Spirits without permission. A judge also demanded all distributors of the vodka pull it from the marketplace.

3. If they have to pull it those bottles will be worth some $$$
I like vodka but I've never seen it. Of course a bottle lasts me over a year though so I don't go shopping for it much.
