Lounge travel gurus: Where do you find the best deals on flights?
I'm shopping for flights in April, and so far www.cheapfares.com has the best numbers (though not by a significant amount). I've always used either the airline's website, Expedia, or Orbitz but if anybody knows of anything else I'd be grateful for the info!

For the record, I've tried the ones above, plus Priceline, hotline, and probably others that I've already forgotten.

Thanks!

4. That's a cool site....
It didn't come up with anything lower than what I'd already found, but it would have saved me time in searching the sites individually...

Bookmarked...

6. i start with the big sites and go from there
priceline, expedia, travelocity, etc., as well as the meta sites like sidestep. once i find the best price there, i check the airline's site and am usually able to get it a bit cheaper.

one big tip is to look in the middle of the night, if possible. not many people are shopping for plane tickets at 2 am and i've found some awesome deals that way.

good luck :)

7. I always use the airline sites.
Sites like Hotwire and Priceline are generally a pain in the ass to deal with especially if you have changes in plans.
