5. One of the rubber feet had gotten dirty
so I tilted it up on its side to clean the foot and the pin holding the top to the bottom almost completely came out.

I fixed it though.

Freaked me right out though.

12. Whew!
Dontcha hate it when one of your workhorse appliances freaks you by "bolting" that way? ;)

I think my 5-qt Kitchenaid needs a shop visit. It looks like it's blown a seal...

16. Go to a restaurant supply business that sells used Hobart mixers.
You can sometimes find a 5-qt mixer, though usually the smallest is around 12-qt, I think. You either have a lot of counter space for such a mixer or a special stand.

15. My parents emptied out there home after living there for 40 years. My brother picked up
an ice crusher that was red. It seems the trend for red appliances is back.

20. Even if it was not trendy, I would have chosen the red one
Funny thing was, when my son went shopping for it for me, my dad tried to steer him to the white one, and S said, "No, Mom would want the red one!"

I have raised him well.

23. It is beautiful. I wish I had red appliances but I went with white several years ago so that is the
way it is going to be.
