My wireless connection fixed itself while I was asleep last night...
it wasn't making a connection with the router for some reason...I turned my computer off finally and went to bed. Today when I turned it on, the wireless connection was back... the lynksis adviser said "wireless connection successful"

So it worked on the connection while the puter was off?

maybe I'm just dumb, but how the hell did it do that?

1. Probably restarting the computer is what fixed it.
It's been my experience that 90% of computer problems can be fixed be restarting the equipment in the right order.
