Two mothers and two daughters were fishing They managed to catch one big fish one small fish and one fat fish Since only three fish were caught how is it possible that they each took home a fish?

6. Apart from the obvious solution...

A, B, C and D walk together to A's home, carrying fishes p, q and r.
When A's back is turned, B, who has octuplets to feed, grabs fish p, and runs home.
C and D, seeing this, don't want to miss out, so they grab fishes q and r and run to their respective homes.
A is now fishless, but she did take one home.
