So, it looks like I'll be moving at the end of March.
Long story short, me and my roommates are getting out of our apartment where the managers don't seem to care about the noisy neighbors we've been dealing with for months. We had a meeting today, and we're going to be able to get out of our lease at the end of March, leaving us free to find our own places.

As a side effect, it means I'll finally be able to get my own place for the first time in the history of EVER, plus I'll save some money doing so.

In any case, now I have to contend with the fact that I'm going to have almost NO money to spend on myself. I'll have to spend on a prorated rent, getting electric/cable/water/etc. set up, PLUS paying my first full month's rent at the end of March as well (hopefully they can combine the prorated and first-month's rent for me since it'll only be the difference of a few days).

My roommates wanted out of the apartment immediately, so I'm glad I at least have a month to work with now.

Sigh. I hope when I find my own place I can actually stay there for a few years and not have to move every 12 months.

1. Before I clicked on the thread
I thought, "But you just changed your name!"

You'll still be staying in Boulder, yes?

2. Maybe. I kind of doubt it at this point because Boulder is so expensive.
Right now, it looks like I'll be 13 miles down the road in Broomfield. I can actually afford a one-bedroom place there. Here in Boulder, the cheapest place I've found is a cramped studio apartment for $580. Leeeeetle too much for a studio, of you ask me...

There are decent apartments in Broomfield I can easily afford, so it's looking like I'll be down there... PRB still fits, at least in terms of the alphabet...
