19. Georgia was difficult,

rather perfunctory, because we hadn't planned to stop there, so it was sort of strained. But we got the job done.

The craftiest was Colorado, because it was outdoors and there were helicopters flying back and forth - in the summer, they were building ski lifts, transporting materials.

And, of course, the most dangerous was Pennsylvania, because it was my parents' home, and we weren't married yet.

The best?

I just did some math in my head and its really strange that I have lived in OK for 35 of my 45 years and all the other times I lived somewhere else only account for a total of 10 years. Most of the time it was the same story, got an offer to go somewhere and work, move out there, set up a residence, work for a while and then have the damn job fold up in my face. Wound up homeless and living in a van for 6 months as a result of one such venture. :(
