When you type LOL, is it because you're laughing out loud?

1. I type "lol" when I actually laugh out loud, for any length of time.

I've only rolled on the floor laughing a few times, once to the original "Toonces" the cat sketch, so the rofl emoticon isn't so true when I use it...

Better this than being a Republican.

6. Rarely am I laughing out loud when I type LOL...

Which is why I think "LOL" is a pretty internetism, but I still use it all the time.

If I'm actually laughing out loud at something, I will usually say something like, "That literally made me laugh out loud."

And while I haven't actually rolled on the floor laughing, I have laughed so hard that I fell onto the floor...but I stayed pretty stationary once I was down there.

I WISH I had laughed my ass off, so I'd have an excuse for my lack of roundness back there.

11. LOL usually means I've actually chuckled at least a bit.

If I think it's funny but didn't LOL, I say "hee" or "ha" or "heh." Really depends on the context. :D
