In honor of Socks Clinton, all tuxedo cat lovers check in with pics of yours
Hell, all cat lovers check in with pics of your babies if you feel so inclined.

But I'm especially fond of the black-and-white kind. Here's mine.

1. Peppercorn died almost a year ago.

She's the one on the left. The other one is Muon, who showed up at my parents' house a year and a half ago, and wormed her way into Pep's frozen, vicious heart. :P

I call her a "Jellicle" Cat...you know "Jellicle cats are black and white...."
Anyway my sweet Sadie is the queenliest queen ever. She is 17 years old and mostly deaf but still has managed to grow the most magnificent plush winter coat this year...Black velvet :)
Anyway Socks, have a wonderful journey to the Heavyside Layer@

10. from T.S. Elliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats
It's a book of cat poems that inspired the musical "Cats"...they're black and white cats :)
The Song of the Jellicles

Jellicle Cats come out to-night
Jellicle Cats come one come all:
The Jellicle Moon is shining bright -
Jellicles come to the Jellicle Ball.

Jellicle Cats are black and white,
Jellicle Cats are rather small;
Jellicle Cats are merry and bright,
And pleasant to hear when they caterwaul.
Jellicle Cats have cheerful faces,
Jellicle Cats have bright black eyes;
They like to practise their airs and graces
And wait for the Jellicle Moon to rise.

Jellicle Cats develop slowly,
Jellicle Cats are not too big;
Jellicle Cats are roly-poly,
They know how to dance a gavotte and a jig.
Until the Jellicle Moon appears
They make their toilette and take their repose:
Jellicle Cats wash behind their ears,
Jellicle dry between their toes.

Jellicle Cats are white and black,
Jellicle Cats are of moderate size;
Jellicle Cats jump like a jumping-jack,
Jellicle Cats have moonlit eyes.
They're quitet enough in the morning hours,
They're quitet enough in the afternoon,
Reserving their terpsichorean powers
To dance by the light of the Jellicle Moon.

Jellicle Cats are black and white,
Jellicle Cats (as I said) are small;
If it happends to be a stormy night
They will practise a caper or two in the hall.
If it happens the sun is shining bright
You would say they had nothing to do at all:
They are resting and saving themselves to be right
For the Jellicle Moon and the Jellicle Ball.

15. She's a girl. Her name
was originally *supposed* to be Auryn--something much more dignified. However, she was teeny and precious and the only cow-spotted one of the litter, so we wound up referring to her as "Spot" and it kinda stuck.

20. Here's Pinball
She was 18 years old. Next month will be a year since she left me on Good Friday. I still miss her. She was so sweet. Had her since she was newly born found by a friend of mine on Easter morning. When she was two years old she was attacked by a roaming tomcat that gave her FIV. She lived with FIV for 16 years until it finally killed her. But she did have a good life and was so loved.

of the Magnificent Atlas (not a tux cat). Our daughter was almost 2 ...Scamp died when daughter was 19. She had a good long fun filled life. She was truly the most playful cat we have ever had.

She was my third Tux Cat, and all were awesome and all LOVED corn on the cob.

She was originally a stray, but we were able to tame her slowly but surely. By the end, she was actually running up to me and jumping in my lap whenever she saw me.

Sadly, because she was always an outdoor cat, she ventured too close to the road one day and was hit by a car. :( But she was a great, great cat.
