Drivers act as if the whole 3" of predicted snowfall* came down in one big **PLOP** instead of over a 20 hour period.

* 3" is predicted, we'll get 1" if lucky.

1. I know
dumb fuckers...

I walked to the restaurant earlier, and walked back, and traffic was going at a reasonable crawl, how dare they slow down to accommodate the conditions...

2. A flake or two isn't enough for drivers to go ga-ga. Lots of blowing snow,
that's different. :D

3. I dont know...
99% of people are not smart enough to get winter tires on their cars, and therefore have very limited traction when the snow flies, I applaud their slowing down.

5. What blows me away is that people act like snow is a brand new thing EVERY FREAKIN YEAR.
It snowed here last year. And the year before that. And the year before that. And so on and so on ad infinitum.

Can people honestly forget how to deal with snow over the six entire months it doesn't do so? And it is a normal occurrence honestly that much of an emergency?

Sheesh.

8. That really pisses me off, too
whenever they call for snow around here, people will rush off to buy a months worth of groceries ( specifically milk and eggs ) :eyes: like they've never seen it before. I blame the fucking news anchors....they always make it seem like a catastrophic storm and try to scare people into thinking they will be trapped in their homes forever.

Fucking assholes

6. They make a mad dash to the grocery store.
All the food is off the shelves in an hour flat.

At least that's how it was in Nashville... :headbang:
