Ever notice Florida is shaped like a big chubby penis? Or Cape Cod like an emaciated old man trying to flex his muscles? Or, for that matter, Italy looking like someone kicking a football (in this case Sicily?)

Look at a map of the world, people! There's lots of weird happenings going on there!

North Carolina has all kinds of little strips of land off the coast. They call them islands, but it's more like a little strip of land 3 feet wide and they actually name it. :eyes:

God, I'm so jealous of the NC islanders. I want to live on an island and write stories and read Stephen King books until my mind is so dirty and insane, there is no return.

Tillamook Rock is the biggest, and it's like an abandoned mausoleum...

12. The Southern Outer Banks are island like, the Northern Banks not so much

Ocracoke and Portsmouth are nowhere near other land, the only access is via boat.

But Nags Head and Hatteras can be reached by crossing relatively short bridges. For now anyway.
