Dollhouse - season 1 episode 2 |

I'm really liking what they are doing with this show. The flashbacks explaining some of the questions raised in episode one were great. The action is well done and Eliza is showing the really good acting range she will need to pull this part off.
If your not watching yet, you can catch the first two episode on HULU, then tune in next Friday.

2. This looks like it will have a long character development. |
|
Hopefully over the next 9-10 episodes Echo becomes a totally different person. It looks like shes starting to remember stuff that were supposed to be wiped away. Looks pretty interesting.

I think whatever the drug was in the canteen is going to make her slowly remember.

I have to admit I have not been quite as impressed with the dialog in this series compared to some of Joss Whedon's other shows. I'm hoping that improves just a bit because I have ALWAYS thought his shows were so well written.
For me, the jury is still out on Dollhouse. It has promise and I'll give it several episodes before I make any decisions about it. It took me a few episodes to love Firefly too--and that ended up being a favorite!

That Joss is taking a slightly different approach. Supposedly he is going to take 7-10 episodes to really set up the chess pieces and get the sides together. Then the usual banter between characters that he does so well will go into place. I guess the idea is then you understand why the players are close on the different sides.

I don't decide what to watch based on what a character in a shows politics are (or in real life for that matter). I watch them because they entertain me. I also enjoy 24 which I know is not real popular here.

6. I want to like it because Firefly (all eps on Hulu) is one of my all time favorites, |
|
but I admit to not liking Buffy at all. Watched last night's episode. I know it doesn't make for good drama, but when somebody is trying to kill you and you have a chance to take them down--just do it, don't talk about it.
