Are your cats getting cabin fever?
This is the time of winter that I dread. Otherwise well behaved kitties start fighting, wrecking any paper products they can get their little paws on, run like hell around the house and play under the kitchen table at three in the morning. (They bring their little mice there and I think they use the chair rungs like goal posts).
If the weather doesn't start warming up soon so I can throw them outside, I think I'm gonna lose it. I love to have a kitty in my lap sometimes, but not every time I sit down. I have to get things done! I only have three of them; why does it seem like a dozen?

3. And with cabin fever, they're everywhere.
Good luck getting through the rest of the winter. :)

4. my 3 have been housebound for quite some time. But they had a day outside
Edited on Sat Feb-21-09 09:51 AM by yellowdogintexas
due to the gas leak I had in my house last week. So now they have cabin fever, big time.

To add to the fun, some young cats are hanging around my patio and my cats are on Full Invader Cat Alert.

5. Invader cats! Oh no!
It's so unsettling to see our sweet, furry little lovebugs attack a strange cat. My cats are ex-strays, so it gives me an inkling on how they survived. It's all a part of kitty society.

10. daughter calls our guys 'The Cat Mafia' for the way they used to stomp
around the neigborhood beating up invader cats.

They also tag team them.

6. LOL! I swear, all cats are brain damaged!
I have two inside kitties. Fortunately, one has adopted my mother. The other one, my "snarly butt" has been driving me nuts!

They race back and forth throughout the house. Then the "snarly butt" wakes me up to play. And the other one wakes up my mom.

I hide my hands an face under my covers. But I'm gonna smack him one of these times.

8. Opposite at my house
My cat doesn't go out, so the spring brings entertainment in the way of birds. For some reason they like to sit on our balcony railing. It was much more entertaining for Baby before they cut down all the brush across from our apartment as the birds often made nests there. Damn brush haters!

11. They don't go outside, but
now that you mention it, there's been an impressive increase in the number of "high-speed donuts in the living room" and "warp-speed kabonks across the apartment" events in the past couple of weeks. I hope the downstairs neighbors can't hear. :P
