The fired good workers just to re-hire them at bullshit wages.

Their extended warranty service was criminal (if they say it covers accidental damage, then live up to it) - a common complaint, apparently. (One reason why Best Buy is preferable; they've kept their word over a flatbed scanner (twice) and LCD TV set.)

Many employees were dumber than a pebble. Sorry to insult pebbles, I know pebbles are smarter than that... whether they were unsuited for the job, apathetic, or otherwise, I do not know.

I'm amazed at some things during the closure; within 1 week's time, over 20 Logitech universal remote controls at 40% off (net price $170) ALL managed to sell. :wtf:

3. My monitor died on Thursday and I went there Friday.

30% off all monitors, but I still think I can do better on Tiger Direct.

As were TVs.

No monitors at all, but the few remaining TVs are at 30% off (MSRP). Still nothing grand by any measure. And I bet some bought a floor model, with extended warranty. Unlike Best Buy, Circuit City never honored theirs. (Reason 2 of 40 why CC was rightfully doomed.)

I did get Office 2007 Pro, full edition (not upgrade) for $250. Even with academic discount, Office Pro would otherwise have cost more anyway...

One was a decent LG widescreen, but I'd like to upgrade to something bigger.
