1. Slumdog Millionaire, hands down.
I'd bet money on it winning Best Picture, too.

4. Have you seen it?
It's gritty and uplifting at the same time. Certainly unlike anything I'd seen before.

10. It will win best picture but
I don't think it deserves it. I thought it would be a movie of more substance. I thought it was highly overrated.

5. I didn't see Slumdog. My favorite would have to be the Wrestler.
Mickey Rourke was awesome and I think he has a good chance to beat out my favorite actor Sean Penn. I also think Doubt was a really good movie though not good enough with the competition it had to face.

7. I'm hoping it'll be Watchmen.
Which would be quite a change from last year, where my favorite was a 13 minute short called I Love Sarah Jane. Fans of the movie Gummo will feel right at home.

8. I can't wait for the Soloist and Transformers 2
The Wolverine origins movie should be fun too. I haven't heard what any of the Oscars 2010 movies are.

11. Movies of 2009
Going to the movies is not a cheap affair anymore,
so I have to say that I have not seen any recent films for awhile.lol

But I hear Slumdog Millionaire and The Reader are doing
very well.
