Anybody else have the virus du jour?

I have what's going around. Started feeling really bad on Friday. Moderate horking and coughing.

My sweetie had it last week.

3. Tuesday I get my allergy test results back.

Should be interesting. Got blood tests done for food allergies.

Seems that if you avoid the foods you are allergic to, lots of people feel better and lose weight. Which makes sense, because the big cause of aging is inflammation.

4. I've been tested several times...

they finally ruled out allergies and said I have Vasomotor rhinitis-- AFTER a year and a half of allergy shots from another doctor. :-( Who knows what to believe where doctors are concerned. I think I need to start a better vitamin regiment again. I used to be much healthier. But I was younger, too.

Hope they find what you are allergic to... if you are!

10. I've had the skin tests before.

I am allergic to LOTS of stuff...pollen, dander, dog hair, cat hair, house dust, tomatoes, bell peppers, shellfish....yada yada.

6. I've already had it....ended about a week ago

sore throat...the worst cough I have EVER had! and body aches like I have never had before. My arms and legs felt like rubber and I could barely move. I swear the flu is getting nastier every year

7. Got it a couple weeks ago.

Wasn't really right 'til yesterday.

8. I was cold free until yesterday. Woke up with a sore throat and some stuffiness.

Taken care of that with medicine. I feel fine tonight.

9. Thought for sure I had it a minute ago--my machine rebooted all by itself.

I was typing in a response to this thread--bitching about my cough and the work I missed last week with this mess, and all at once--poof--my screen went gray and the machine rebooted! I never even got to tell you about the fact that my entire family had it too...

All I could think of was "F**K! My computer even has this crap!!!"

I'm down now to the draining and the stuff in my throat. The cough is no fun, but this too shall pass (I hope!)

I'm taking extra Vitamin C and using Zinc lozenges so I should be fine in a couple of days.
