1. Listen, most of us truly enjoy beating children mercilessly
but we share the photos via PM, not post them publicly. There is still a small but dedicated group of those who oppose child oppression, you know.

I kid (no pun intended).

Wha hoppen?!!?

2. Whoa. The poor baby. That had to hurt like hell.
I can see his eyes are red from crying. That's one that you can't even kiss to make better.

3. My Poor Jubjub
He tripped and hit his head on the coffee table, taking several years off of my life.
No signs of concussion, though, and he won't sit still and let me put ice on it, so I can't say he's behaving any differently.

4. I hope that he gets better fast, and more importantly, that he forgets it.

5. those coffee tables are evil evil things. Our daughter did that too.
tripped over a dust mite or something.

Our nurse said if it is bulging that she would be OK. It is when they cave in that you need to be scared.

Did he take a huge deep breath and sit there frozen before he let out a yell?

Poor baby.

Wish I had the picture of my sister when she kneed herself in the eye socket while doing something stupid (she was about 5) It was a colossal shiner

6. We went to the ER for the same goose's egg
on our son several years ago when he was about 3 years old. The doc there told me it's always better for a head injury when the goose egg comes out instead of a closed head injury that doesn't pop out like that. It was sore as all get out, then it turned really ugly, but no concussion.
