The CPR on 24 tonight was terrible

The purpose of CPR isn't necessarily to resuscitate (it actually has a pretty poor success rate in that respect) but to maintain circulation until medical help arrives and a resuscitation (typically defibrillation) can be attempted. I was taught that you keep going until the EMT's show up and take over.

Tonight on 24 Agent Freckles applied CPR to a car accident victime for all of about thirty seconds before shaking her head and giving up. An ambulance was even en route.

I know it's a silly thing to grouse about but it pissed me off.

As soon as they introduced the bad guy's girl friend, I knew she was a goner. I just hope they use the sister for more than a guilt trip.

For those who hate "24" I end up watching it because I forget that "The Closer" is on Monday nights at the same time. And there is so much to criticize with the plots.
