He was on his way to work, and saw a car swerve from their lane, hit another car, which hit an SUV that overturned, and hit another car..He was "in it" but miraculously was untouched (whew!)...
He started to pull over to see if the roll-over needed help, when he saw the car that STARTED the whole mess, peel out and started to speed off, so my son got back on the road, called 911, and followed the car, as it sped off.. he could not catch it, because the person was going really fast, but he stayed on the phone with the 911 person, until they got a chopper in the air..(police were enroute, because other people stopped and called).. The car has front end damage, and he got a partial plate number..
He'll be late to work, but I guess he has a good excuse:)
It's nice to know he listened to all our lectures about getting involved, and NEVER ignoring any accident they see.. A guy ran a light once and broadsided my car, and NO ONE stayed around until the cops came..
There we were..my son (then 4) and I (a week from having my 2nd baby)..in a ditch..and everyone just drove right by...
