10. I will not get my hopes up for that

I am not going to get my hopes up for Republicans going the way of the Whigs. These were guys whose policies led directly to the Great Depression. And then, for an encore only a few years later, they actively and openly supported Hitler and Mussolini.

While Bush was an awful president, invading Iraq and causing the Great Recession pale in comparison to the Republicans of the Roaring 20s and the 1930s.

I will continue to work for their extinction, and hope that the eventual opposition party is more along the lines of moderate DLCers

You underestimate the Repugs' uncanny ability to seriously fuck up. So far they have made great strides. Just as soon as the far rightwing loons abandon them, they are done, and that might not be far off.

The more the Repugs cling to their white penises the more irrelevant they become. I think they have to put forth a non-white-penis presidential nominee next time around. Even if they lose at least that will allow them to hold on to some degree of relevancy for the next cycle or two with at least the congressional elections.
