On-Line meds...

Not sure if this should be in general discussion or here, but I need some help and figure this site is the home of lots of well-informed people who might have answers.

Two of my medications are non-generic (I take a total of 8, so I guess I'm lucky there aren't more), and Medicare Part D--masterminded by the feeble Repugs in congress--runs into the "donut" later in the year and I have to pay full price after that. So I'm hard-pressed to afford them after 2/3 of the year.

So I'm wondering about those places on line that offer cheaper prescriptions. Most of them have "Canada" in the name.

Anybody know where I can find information about how safe or dangerous these might be? Google gives me no information (don't know if I'm doing something wrong) so I'm at a loss as to how to find them.

1. get in touch with the manufacturers first

i get one of my meds for free through the manufacturer. i would also suggest seeing if your county has some sort of prescription assistance program.
