Fuck, I think my monitor is dead, or dying.
It's been acting weird for a while, where it would take a while to actually turn on. Recently it seems like it will come on for a brief moment, then go off again. And it makes this weird barely audible whirring noise (that seems to freak out the cat, haha) as though it's trying to come on but can't. I tried different power outlets, different power cord, etc. but no dice.

So looks like I'm gonna have to drop half of my next paycheque on a new monitor instead of a tattoo like I was planning. Fuck.

1. What kind of monitor?
I got a really sweet 22-incher for $120 (or less, I forget now) on NewEgg.

2. The dead/dying one is a 20" LG.
I'm definitely going to go for at least a 22" but I figure if I can afford to I'll go 24 or 25".
