They literally jam through the set - faster than usual
Don't get me wrong, its an amazing high-energy show. But even on slow tunes like "Word on a Wing" he's doing it faster than usual.
Should I assume Coke plays a part in this?

TWD was around the height of his addiction, so yes. He was really, really high. He cut himself off around '77, when he went to Berlin.
