Guess this song by the lyrics
Du
Könntest Du schwimmen
Wie Delphine
Delphine es tun
Niemand gibt uns eine Chance
Doch wir können siegen
Für immer und immer
Und wir sind dann Helden
Für einen tag

Ich
Ich bin dann König
Und Du
Du Königin
Obwohl sie
Unschlagbar scheinen
Werden wir Helden
Fur einen Tag
Wir sind dann wir
An diesem Tag

Ich
Ich glaubte zu träumen (zu träumen)
die Mauer
Im Rücken war kalt (so kalt)
Schüsse reissen die Luft (reissen die Luft)
Doch wir küssen
Als ob nichts geschieht (nichts geschieht)
Und die Scham fiel auf ihre seite
Oh, wir können sie schlagen
Für alle zeiten
Dann sind wir Helden
Für diesen Tag
Dann sind wir Helden
Dann sind wir Helden
Dann sind wir Helden
Für diesen Tag

3. It has been a while, but without my dictionary I can still pick some out
I can read a lot of it but don't recognize the song. Dang. I guess I need to dig out my Cassell's.

10. I just don't recognize the lyrics.
Sort of like asking people to peg "Catch foot, iron claw. Neurosurgeon screams, for more."

15. Ahhhh - although the thing about Bowie's Berlin years is they don't fall into any category
They're not Classic Rock - too new wavey and punk for that

They're not Early Alternative - those albums came out in the 70's, and early alternative begins with Joy Division

They're not punk, and if anything they are postpunk - but postpunk is about as vague of a definition as you can get

17. No I don't - I thought it was a reference to the Bowie Knife
But knowing Bowie, anything (and I do mean anything) is possible

18. That's how, but then there is the why (I have to get going here so I'll tell)...
When he was being pitched as a new star, his given name conflicted with that of an already established musician - Davie Jones. So, as you suspected, he picked the name of his favorite knife - and thus we have David Bowie.

We also ended up with John Denver because the manager didn't think John Deuchendorf would sell many records. And then there was the whole John Cougar fiasco. Frankly, I like the name Mellencamp just fine.

And let us not forget the performer formerly known as Prince who subsequently legally changed his name to an unpronounceable symbol and sometime after that changed it back to Prince.

I know a speck of German and I like David Bowie. Also, the band Wir Sind Helden kicks my ass.
