but we loved him.... and he loved us.

He wasn't a purebred, and to be honest I don't think he came from a very healthy litter of kittens. (When we picked him up, we saw one of his siblings and let me tell you, THAT kitten was sick--hardly any hair, skinny, breathed funny....)
