TNG: Troi. She never wears a proper uniform. She wears some lavender get-up that has a very low v-neck and is rather tight, ewww... Not to forget, the other women crewmembers' outfits seem to show off more than the mens' as well... More amusingly, in the episode featuring Tasha's sister, what did the Enterprise gang do when she beamed aboard? Why they changed her outfit from the brown/white loose-fitting ensemble to this bright blue extremely skin-tight form fitting get-up, complete with matching holster. :puke:
DS9: Kira. Never mind the parallel universe stories where she's in leather, her regular outfit is tight too. Not to forget the un-bold Dax/lesbian kiss in season 4. Complete with drooling saliva, that was there just so the daddies could get "sprung"... If it was two MEN kissing and the story have a little more depth than "Oh, my previous lover, my new symbiant host happens to have the same sexual organs, so let's get it on!"...
Voyager -> Janeway is also a victim of "tight uniform syndrome", though nobody noticed the instant 7-o-9 came aboard...
Enterprise -> T'Pol. Her dresses seem to get tighter every season. Hmmm, washing machine's cold water cycle go out or something? But at least we know when T'Pol is cold... :eyes: Or are they clutching at straws to bring back the dads to watch, though the kids by this point are watching something that requires more brain cells, like "Teletubbies".
The original series -> When did this show NOT have a sexist moment would be more apropos? Every episode has at least one woman in go-go boots, short miniskirt requiring the wearer to pull it DOWN, and push-up cleavage, and the ubiquitous vaseline-on-the-lens trick... Not that guys wouldn't like it, but still... Whether it be Starfleet, Romulan, or Rigel Seven-ian, there she is! Indeed, in the original series, Romulans were fleet commanders. Starfleet didn't have any women fleet commanders let alone starship commanders and even said so in "Turnabout Intruder" (an otherwise wonderful story), until Star Trek IV (Madge Sinclair being the first-ever Starship Captain...)... Not to forget Kirk himself being a sexist pig on no less than 2 occasions (both of the most severe transgressions occurred during the third season, go figure... Instead of treating an intelligent woman as an adult, he tries to turn her on with her charm. Worse is the incident with Deela (ahem)... Kirk is cool, but his libido is a bit much... But on the plus side, the TOS male outfits allowed the men to put socks in a novel location, though don't ask Gary Lockwood what happened to him on the set during filming... :D
