Poll question: Best Pizza on Wooster Street
One thing those Yalies get besides Skull and Bones. The home of Pizza in the USA.

1. you mean they actually spell it "wooster" in New Haven?
I thought only Ohio had that little innovation.

What is the one next to Toad's Place?

6. Darn!
I accidentally voted for Sally's when I meant Pepe's! :-(

Anyway, the pizza parlor next to Toad's Place was called Yorkside when I was a grad student at Yale in the 1970s. It was a larger branch of Broadway Pizza on the other side of the block, which existed first. I always felt as if Yorkside was for the Yalies and Broadway was for the locals. At least that's how their respective clientele struck me.

I prefered the tuna subs and eggplant subs at Broadway to the ones at Yorkside.

Is Louis' Lunch (home of the hamburger) still in existence?

Haven't been back to New Haven since 1982.
