My friend was operated on by the drunk doc in Boston! |

I just heard this story on the news. This guy apparently showed up in the operating room drunk and ready to do surgery. He operated on my friend a month ago. She had heard rumors that he had a drinking problem but she liked him and went ahead with it. The operation involved replacing the knuckle joints on two of her fingers...after the operation both fingers turned out seriously crooked. She's away on vacation now so she probably hasn't heard about this guy's latest problem...when she does I think there is going to be HELL TO PAY!

1. Was it a hospital or just the doctors clinic? |
|
If it was a big hospital, your friend is rich

2. It was St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Boston. |

Before her operation this guy had been arrested for DWI. Apparently he had had other episodes involving the bottle. I tried to talk my friend out of having him perform the surgery but her response was that St. E's wouldn't allow someone to operate if he was impaired...so much for that theory!
