Anyone else in love with Sting's "The Soul Cages"?
Everyone thinks I am crazy, but I play this all the time, since I picked it up for 25 cents at Goodwill. It is so beautiful and sad, with this sense of unpretentious grandeur that just about encompasses all of heaven, earth and mankind.

1. It's a great album
you really feel like you get to know that part of him with this CD.

3. I read an interview
where he said that although he had never wept when his parents died, when he made this album, he found himself weeping for them in the recording studio. I can feel that in the music, I think.

2. I think it's Sting's 'last great album'
It was all down hill from there (with each subsequent release).
After that, he settled down, got married in his new mansion and became.... "The Happy Manor Lord" bent on solidifying his status as a 'legend.'

Nothing kills creativity like contentment.

-- The new album is an embarrassment.

4. It's my favorite Sting solo song
One heavy deep dark song.

5. Pretty good album
I had it on cassette back in Junior High when it first came out, but don't have it anymore. I loved the title track - I wrote a story about it for English class one time.
