My first thread! I want to tell you about yours truly...

Hey guys and gals! I'm Marius. People call me Justin (my real name obviously). I'm from Minnesota, now living in South Dakota for the time-being. I'm a 22 years old male. I'm a Democrat. :)

Some of the issues in politics I am strongly for include:
1. Equal rights for all!
2. That the environment needs to be helped right now. And that includes developing alternative energies like solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.
3. I hate George W. Bush and his whole administration.
4. I really dislike most (99%) Republicans.
5. The poor should be helped and they should be helped now! (I'm one of them.) Too many kids in this country are starving, without heat (many poor kids in areas like Chicago are without heating assistance), and their parents are only living (barely) day-by-day.
6. NAFTA is hurting our country and we need to fix that.
7. We need to get rid of those tax cuts to the rich!
8. Women have the right to choose whether or not they want an abortion!

There's many other issues I stand on, but I don't want to bore you all. I look forward to chatting with you all in the coming months! Thanks for allowing me to introduce myself. Let's defeat Bush in November! :hi: :)

I hope you're a little more flexible about the hating Repubs thing than your post indicates... some of us are Repubs who have seen the light, but haven't officially switched parties yet (my state freezes party switching during certain blocks of the election year).
