Why do so many people have such a problem just being nice.
I am so sick of all the back stabbing, the lies & gossiping going on where I work. Some of them are like sharks, they smell blood and have to rip that person to shreds.
I find it easier to be nice, even if I have to confront someone.
You can tell or ask someone the same thing many ways the kindest way I find the best way.

1. Well it's kinda like that geek saying
about computers, Garbage In, Garbage Out. Except with people it's hate in, hate out, and the administration is feeding as much hate as it can.

3. I spent lunch with a coworker who has been lied about,
shit on & screwed over. I am so sad & so tired.
I see all the hate and selfishness going on and sometimes I feel there is nothing I can do to make even a small difference.

5. being nice
requires more effort.
for the most nice isn't appreciated,
the nice are considered naive or sappy,etc.,etc.

think about how easy it is to be jerk and get accepted.

6. Nice guys finish last...
...Or so goes the cliche. I was raised by my parents to be a nice guy. It's gotten me exactly nowhere. I'm not gonna change, but I have become very cynical as I grow older. End result: I trust no one.

9. Amen to this
Being nice is taken as a big sign hanging over your head saying "I want to be fucked over BIG TIME!" Being chivalrous is worse. Then women wonder why no one holds doors or buys flowers... :eyes:

I'm not changing, per se. I'm nice and chivalrous... until I sense a reason why I shouldn't be. These people can then all go fuck themselves as I won't bend an inch for them. Respect goes to those who earn.

10. I am naturually not mean
Sometimes I may be blunt and not say something in the nicest way, but I have no desire to hurt people. I hate hurting people. I feel horrible when I hurt people even accidently. I want everyone to be happy and live in harmony. I never understood the desire of many people to hurt others for no reason.

11. I am a wimp when it comes to hurting people in any way.
I remember one time I broke up with my boyfriend and I knew it would hurt him. I was crying so hard he ended up comforting me.
