I heard a pro-abstinence commercial on the radio today.
It was right after "Holidae in" with Ludakris, Snoop, and Chingy, and right before that "milkshake" song.

It had a couple of voice actors horribly acting as syrupy high pitched teenagers (you know the kind) and talking about how great abstenince is and how it's the only way to protect from STDs, and how much fun it is to wait until marriage.

This is the single stupidest advertising campaign in the history of the multiverse. My tax dollars had better not be paying for this. That would be worse then the millions of dollars the CIA spent investigating psychic powers.

1. Nothing wrong with pro-abstinence ...
as a part of a complete plan.

To rely on it soley is irresonsible and unrealistic.

Cheers

2. I laughed....
I laughed when I read what songs the abstinence commercial was in between... pretty ironic considering those songs are ABOUT sex.

3. how much fun it is to wait until marriage
If I had waited I would have been a 26 year old virgin.

Doesn't it seem that the wait until marriage sect are also the ones screaming about gay marriage. talk about F-ing up the sanctity of marriage.

Okay Jenny, you have to get married at 17 or 18 just so you can have sex. Can you imagine how the divorce rate would rise if people just got married so they could have sex?
