Monty is sitting on the recliner trying not to fall asleep. Simba is sleeping on top of my napping husband on the couch. Very cute, the both of them!

6. My cats are eating wild alaskan salmon patties I found wholesale!

Well the aint exactly my cats but I am baby sitting them and frankly, I cannot stand canned cat food. WHAT A STINKFEST of mystery meat. The salmon comes in patty form and comes out to about 70 cents a patty. Yum. We all love it.

8. cleaning up cat puke

my daughter just told me that our cat threw up in her room.
She says it is my fault because I sent her the thread about a cat throwing up. . . .

so why do I get to be the one to clean it up?

daughter says, "well I had to watch her do it."

9. Sam is on the desk, eyeing my chips.

BTW, when Sam's on the desk, there's no room for anything else!

10. Merlin is sleeping in my spot on the bed! Next to MrGrumpy. Which

means a struggle to get him to move his fat little tushie down to the end of the bed...sigh...

Sam likes my spot. If I need to get up in the night, I return to bed to find Sam in my place. He won't move and he's dead weight. I have to curl up around him. (See photos above -- Sam is one big boy!)

12. Sam seems about the same size as Merlin. It's a pain in the butt

ain't it? Sometimes I just fall asleep on the couch. But then I am awakened by this heavy feeling in my chest, like a heart attack...only, it's a Merlin attack. :hi:

13. Yep.... Sam does that to me on weekends.

I don't get up at 4:30 on weekends. He gets impatient and climbs on my tummy. Then I can't move because of his 25+ fat butt. One of the last conversations I had with my mom was about Sam waking me up in the morning. I asked, "Mom, guess who woke me up this morning?" She said "Sammy" as well as she could (she was almost in a coma at that point.) They she said, "Lock him in the bathroom."

Whenever I told her about Sam waking me up, she told me to lock him in the bathroom. But, she didn't mean it. She dearly loved Sam -- and loved rubbing his fat tummy.
