A 19 year old woman I love is fighting for her life right now

My dear friend's daughter suffered a stroke and heart attack last night. My friend's husband is on his way out to Buffalo right now, and my friend is headed there tonight with their other daughter. They are waiting for her to stabalize before performing another surgery.

This is a 19 year old woman, a trained ballerina, med student.

Please send any good thoughts you can spare right now.

I was just chatting with her day before yesterday. She is coming home from college in a couple of weeks and was going to house/dog sit for me when I go to Bonnaroo. I really could care less about that right now. :cry:

My Dad did well at Millard Fillmore after a stroke 20 years ago. They were good then and should be better now!

She is a student at Daemon.

I just spoke with her mom and she is on the way now with the younger daughter. This poor family... :cry:

They also have a third daughter from whom they are estranged. I didn't want to mention it, but I was wondering if that daughter knows what is going on with her sis?

46. My husband had a heart attack in his early 20s.

It's always a shock, and you never stop worrying. I wasn't with him at the time, but there isn't a day when I don't worry about his heart. The good news is that because it happened when he was young, his body naturally compensated for the loss of heart muscle. I hope it is the same for your friend.
